In 2010 the two countries entered into a Strategic Partnership demonstrating the breadth and depth of existing cooperation and shared level of ambition for the future.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>The Strategic Partnership provides a comprehensive framework for cooperation under these priority areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>political \u2013 diplomatic cooperation<\/li>\n<li>global and regional issues<\/li>\n<li>trade and Investment<\/li>\n<li>sustainable socio-economic development<\/li>\n<li>education, training, science and technology<\/li>\n<li>security and defence<\/li>\n<li>people-to-people links<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The UK presence in Vietnam includes the embassy in Hanoi and consulate general in Ho Chi Minh City.
